Speak freely, even when everyone knows you
If you run a business or lead people in a small town, you are rarely just yourself. This page explains how confidential evening sessions with a psychologist can work for you.
This site describes evening sessions with the authorised psychologist Frank for leaders in the Auning area. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk. The main site is in Danish.

The conversations can be held in English, both in person in Mørke and online. Mørke lies on Djursland, a short drive from Auning, so an evening session after work is realistic. If you would rather stay home, you can meet online from a place of your choice. Both options are a proper offer, with the same psychologist and the same format.
Why a small town changes things
When your employees are also your neighbours, and your customers watch the same football matches, it is hard to say out loud that you are tired, doubtful or stretched thin. Many leaders keep going, because speaking to someone close by feels risky. A psychologist from outside your daily circle can offer a room where you do not have to think about who is listening.
How it works
- Individual sessions at a fixed time every week, in the evening.
- The same psychologist throughout the whole course.
- Online or in Mørke, as you prefer.
- Limited capacity and, typically, a waiting list. No start date is promised.
- You sign up through the main site. Signing up is non-binding.
Online sessions are ordinary conversations held by video from wherever you can talk undisturbed. They save you the travelling, and the weekly slot is easy to fit around a working day.
What you can focus on
You do not need a finished explanation or a clear topic. Some people come to talk about pressure and long hours. Others want to think through responsibility, difficult decisions, self-criticism or the loneliness that can come with being the one others turn to. The sessions can give you room to understand what is going on, without you having to perform.
Who it is for
Business owners, managers, founders and busy professionals, including people with an international background who prefer to talk in English. The approach is discreet and down to earth.

Questions and answers
Does my GP, employer or family find out?
No. Your doctor is not informed, and neither are the municipality, your partner or spouse, or your workplace. The sessions are private, no referral is needed, and they fall under the psychologist's duty of confidentiality.
Can my company pay the invoice?
Yes. Many clients have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you are also welcome to pay yourself. Details sit on the main site's practical information page.
Do I need to name my employer?
No. When you sign up you give a short description of yourself so that it can be judged whether the offer suits you, but you do not have to state who you work for.
Is there a waiting list?
Usually, yes. Capacity is limited and no start date can be promised. Signing up is non-binding.
Need help right now? There is a waiting list for these sessions. If your need is acute, contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) or call 112.
